Fractured Foundations

On the floor, scattered pieces lay bare,

a mosaic of wood, unfinished, laid with care.

Each jagged edge tells a story unsaid,

waiting for dreams to rise from the dead.

Moving through chaos, I stumble and pause,

a future caught between what could and what was.

It feels heavier than it looks, this weight of desire,

fragments of purpose ignite like fire.

Amongst this plywood, potential resides,

waiting for hands to bring forth the tides.
