Dreams on Pages

Old magazines litter the table,

covering dreams, white dresses pristine,

a vibrant glow hides hollow fears,

every glossy image a silent ache.

Conversations buzz about plans,

where smiles ignite unspoken loss,

I wanted that bliss,

a day draped in possibility.

Instead, it lingers like an untouched gift,

a reminder of promises buried,

yet still, a part of me waits.
