Moments Caught

The security camera hums, unblinking, it sees,

a glance at my face as I sip bitter brew—

there’s something intimate, invasive, like these

habits I think no one cares to pursue.

I’m caught in a moment, a fleeting exchange,

a tired smile aimed at the air,

yet here I stand, each movement feels strange—

like they’re stitching a story I never would share.

Behind the glass, I witness the lives

of others who pass in silence and haste,

we’re all part of this web that quietly thrives,

just shadows in frames, with no time left to waste.
