Weightlessness

I remember the moment, arms wrapped around,

the feeling of safety, like floating off ground.

A friend pulled me close when the world felt so heavy,

lifting my burdens, my heart beat unsteady.

The weight of my worries dissolved into air,

like feathers on whispers, lightening despair.

That warmth held me tight, a moment of grace,

a memory cradled in time, a soft place.
