Sweatsoaked collar the room’s stifling heat

Sweat-soaked collar, the room’s stifling heat,

the questions come hard, no mercy, no beat.

I stutter through answers, dissecting my flaws,

as if every mistake were laid bare with no cause.

“Tell me your strengths,” the panel leers on,

I fumble for answers, I feel like a pawn.

In this harsh light, my hopes slip away,

a moment of truth that just led me astray.
