Moments Unmade

What-ifs echo louder in each empty room,

when a friend's wedding invite blooms into gloom.

I picture the laughter, the veil on my face,

yet dreams like old flowers wilt, lose their grace.

Withered bouquets collect dust on the shelf,

a reminder of futures I lost with myself.

Life twists like ribbons, I grip the unseen,

a wedding unmade, between what has been.
