Essentials

Crumbled and stained, this list tells my tale,

scribbled down items, where chaos prevails.

With each crossed-off name, the weight feels less tight,

essentials for living, in the mundane night.

Milk and eggs linger, like thoughts I can’t shake,

as life spirals on in the choices we make.

In the hum of the fridge, the quiet of space,

every item I gather, a fragment of grace.

#domestic life #existential anxiety #mundane routine #self care #small comforts
