Scrolling through my phone, a moment of doubt,

a voicemail still glowing, a voice I can't shout.

The urge to delete it grips hard at my heart,

but warmth in that message won't let me depart.

A reminder of laughter, of love that still stays,

even as silence now fills up the days.

The blinking light pulses, a beacon of hope,

in a world where I struggle, this tether helps cope.
