Shattered

A wine glass tumbles, spills secrets untold,

it shatters in silence, shards bright and cold.

The laughter that lingered now splintered and sharp,

a promise once whole, now plays like a harp.

Every glint of the glass tells a story of trust,

breaking like hopes we thought were robust.

In pieces, it sparkles, reflecting the night,

a reminder of things that slip out of sight.
