Boundary Lines

Standing on grass, where the children run free,

a chalk line is drawn, where we learn who we be.

In the whistle’s sharp call, memories flare,

a boundary that separates dreams from despair.

White marks on green, like the lines in our lives,

defining our paths as each moment strives.

From the sidelines I watch, the joy and the pain,

a reminder that hope can emerge from the rain.
