Stuck

I stood by the roadside, a nail in my fate,

as notifications buzzed, time slipping too late.

The cracked asphalt glared, like a judge in a trial,

my day unraveled, disarray in denial.

Each honk from a passerby, a reminder of life,

a rhythm of chaos, amidst worry and strife.

With grease on my hands and a heart heavy, sore,

I pondered the cost of a day to explore.
