The Shoes I Carried Through It All

I found them again, in the corner they lie,

a pair of old shoes, with memories nigh.

The soles are worn thin, like tales once spun,

a summer road trip, two hearts beating as one.

On cracked sidewalks, we wandered for miles,

through laughter and sun, in that time where time smiles.

Every scuff tells a story, each stain is a mark,

a piece of my journey, a flicker of spark.
