Forgotten Drives

I opened the glove box, a treasure trove found,

receipts and old papers, reminders abound.

Dust settled gently, a patina of years,

a mix of neglect and long-buried fears.

Each crumpled ticket tells stories untold,

of highways and laughter, of journeys so bold.

Yet here I am sifting through clutter and space,

a life tucked away in forgotten embrace.
