A Fleeting Connection

In the café, laughter drips like honey,

a moment suspended, sweet and sunny.

Your smile flickers, a spark in the air,

a single eyelash, brushed without care.

It lands softly, a token, a sign,

a bridge between worlds, your gaze meets mine.

In that instant, the noise fades away,

a breath held in time, the colors at play.

We share a glance, so tender, so brief,

a connection, perhaps, yet cloaked in disbelief.

Do you feel it too? The thread gently spun,

a spark in the chaos, two strangers as one.
