Winding Paths

Riding shotgun, the tires hum,

he swerves, a blend of swift and slow,

a tight grip, the past feels numb,

like the roads he knows, where memories grow.

Each turn we take, a lesson learned,

as my heart races through every mile,

my father’s caution always burned,

a reminder to drive with both care and style.
