The Last Words We Spoke

Her message still glows, like a flicker of light,

reminding me softly of that fateful night.

We spoke of the mundane, of dreams left to chase,

yet now those sweet whispers have taken their place.

Your voice echoes gently, each syllable clear,

a moment once casual, now precious and dear.

In the still of the night, I reach for the phone,

but silence replies; now I’m left here alone.
