The Wedding I Never Had

There were invitations, a shimmer of gold,

a sunlit promise of stories untold.

Her laughter lingered in dresses of white,

each ring reflects joy that slips out of sight.

I scroll through images, friends in their grace,

a time not lived, a forgotten embrace.

With cake and confetti, I stand on the side,

a spectator of love—where my dreams had all died.
