Drunk for the First Time

There’s a bottle tucked back, cheap wine in disguise,

memories spill out, hazy like skies.

A night where the laughter turned wild, out of hand,

plastic cups tipped over, a messy, lost land.

I danced on the edge of a dizzying spin,

thought I found freedom, but what lay within?

The world felt like glitter, but shadows ran deep,

and I stumbled through secrets I swore I would keep.
