Lost Connections

I reached for my phone, the screen dark as despair,

just when I needed to talk, it vanished, unfair.

The silence wraps tighter, a suffocating glove,

no way to connect, no call, no push, just shove.

In that moment of chaos, frustration ignites,

my thoughts go unspoken, lost in the night.

A lifeline unplugged, leaving me stranded,

cut off from the world, the chaos expanded.
