Ephemeral Moments

An ice cube drips slowly, the sunlight compels,

a dancer of minutes, its story it tells.

Each drop pools in silence, a glimmer of time,

an urgency creeping, the flow feels like crime.

I watch as it shatters, breaking apart,

reminders of moments too fleeting to chart.

With nothing left holding, just water and air,

it whispers of changes, the light, and the dare.
