Inherit Driving

The wheel hot in my grip, the road stretches wide,

with each cautious turn, I feel both a guide.

His habits now echo in the way that I steer,

old coffee cups lingering, whispers of fear.

He taught me to navigate both street and the soul,

where each bump and each turn weaves a tale of control.

But now, here I am, in the driver’s own seat,

feeling dizzy like him, a blend of our heat.
