Hands in Motion

I watch you peel oranges, fingers deft and true,

each action a language, simple and new.

The way you stir coffee, light dances in cream,

reminds me how beauty hides within the routine.

You wash all the dishes, the clatter a song,

and I find in the mundane where I truly belong.

It’s in those small gestures, those everyday plans,

that I learn to embrace life through another's hands.
