Lost Opportunities

Pages unfold like whispers of dreams,

creased and worn, full of wandering themes.

Stamps from afar, yet I’m anchored in place,

each journey deferred feels like a closed case.

A friend shared a photo, their laughter like sun,

while here in the stillness, I feel I’ve undone.

Adventures like shadows, they flicker and fade,

reminding me gently of chances I’ve made.
