Tender Moments

A book left on the porch, unexpected light,

a simple note tucked in, warm and bright.

Sun spills through windows, catching dust in gold,

I remember that kindness like stories told.

Like a hug I didn’t ask for, it wraps around me,

even in moments when love feels like a spree.

I’m learning to open up, to trust this touch,

a comfort so real, it feels like too much.
