Silent Clarity

In the meeting room, I nod, play along,

the words like a chorus, but something feels wrong.

I know the answer, but silence weighs more,

a burden I carry, what am I waiting for?

Their eyes shift from hope to confusion,

a mask of ignorance, my own exclusion.

Why speak when the truth pulls like a thread,

yet here I remain, with nothing to be said.
