Tender Impacts

I bumped my elbow, a sharp little sting,

reminders of life, the clumsiness it brings.

While peeling potatoes, thoughts flow like streams,

a moment’s distraction, unraveling dreams.

The bruise on my skin, a mark of my care,

a tender reminder of how I must bear.

It stings with the truth that small things can shift,

a touch, a jolt, like fate's quiet gift.
