Inherited Paths

Hands on the wheel, he swerves through the lane,

a grip that reflects both caution and strain.

I watch as he circles each pothole with care,

learning the balance of safety and dare.

His driving a dance of hesitation and haste,

and somehow I've molded my own path to taste.

With every turn taken, his lessons take hold,

a story of caution wrapped tight in the bold.
